Explore Team Chiapas
You might not think you can change the world on your coffee break. But I promise that you can — and I've got the evidence to prove it. How? I recently traveled with a team of photographers and filmmakers to Chiapas, Mexico — a rainforest-covered state that produces most of the country's coffee — to learn more about the work of Conservation International and our partners. There, we watched spider monkeys ascend steep canyon walls. We listened as farmers described their personal experiences with climate change. And we learned how your choice to drink sustainably grown coffee is making a difference — not just in Chiapas, but around the world. Today, we're sharing what we learned. You can learn more, right now, by checking out the written stories, photos and videos of our trip to Chiapas. It's all part of "Team Earth," our new storytelling project here at CI! But by focusing on one area where we work, we can tell short stories about the many kinds of partners who work with CI — stories that offer a glimpse of who these people are, how CI works with them to get results ... and how the work we do together is relevant to you. I hope these stories will give you a better sense of what we do, how it relates to you — and how you can get involved! Explore Team Chiapas — and be sure to give us your feedback on CI's blog or Facebook page. Thanks for everything you do for conservation! Sincerely,
Molly Bergen Managing Editor, Conservation International
